South Carolina

Distinguished Young Women of South Carolina is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership and talent in young women.

College scholarships are awarded at the state level ($6700.00 last year) and millions in college-granted scholarships are available ($1 billion nationally). And one representative will advance to the national program in Mobile, Alabama where they give away over $130,000 in cash tuition scholarships.

Program Dates

Applications for the Class of 2023 (rising seniors) are closed. The program for the state Class of 2023 was held July 7-9, 2022 at Southern Wesleyan University and Seneca High School.

Applications for the Class of 2024 (rising juniors) are open. Apply today!

To qualify for the South Carolina State Program, you must first participate in a Local or At-Large Program.

If you are a rising Sophomore or Junior (graduating class of 2024 or 2025), please consider applying to learn more about the program.
